Day 1, Friday 7 Dec 2007
The trip was hosted by our friends from the Termerloh 4X4 group whom we have had met previously during the Ice Mountain excursion. This was to be a joint event between 4x4 enthusiast such as us with the Rakan Muda program of the Youth Ministry. Anyway a record of six reps from Gugujah participated in this event. The regulars were Romeo, Whiskey-Mike, and Alpha-Kilo. While Bravo-Lima's rig took part, the pilot was Slee (a.k.a Sierra-Echo), a new member joining Gugujah's event for the first time. Also on his maiden trip with Gugujah was Wady (a.k.a Tango-Juliet) driving his black Rocky. And, we were excited to see Yankee-Zulu making a comeback after a year of absence from Gugujah's events!

.. and cars were lined up for the flag off ~ this was at the municipality filed in Tem....
Anyhow, not much story to tell, except that it was raining since morning... drizzling at first.. then it gets heavier.... drizzles again... intermittently gets heavier... by the time the convoy reached the planned offroad route, the first river swelled with a rapid flow that the leader decided to go through another route... not sure where this was exactly... do enjoy the pictures anyway.. :)
The rain wasn't too kind to the group.. continued to pour as the group made their way to the camping area. Story has it, it poured heavily early the next morning rendering many participants wet during their last few hours of sleep!

Day 2 : Saturday, 8 Dec 2007
The group were rudely awakened by heavy downpour early in the wee morning of that Saturday.... Some participants literally slept in a watery tent!
Due to a worsening weather condition, the originally planned 3days-2nights excursion were cut short... Thus after one night of "fun" in the cold & wet tents, the tour leader made the difficult decision to end this "love the nature" event. Here's the pics from the return leg of the trip....
